Ranking 27th out of 113 top academic research libraries in North America, the Libraries offers NC State a competitive advantage in attracting and retaining the best faculty and students to the university. The NCSU Libraries consists of the D. H. Hill Library, Burlington Textiles Library, Harrye B. Lyons Design Library, Natural Resources Library, and Veterinary Medical Library. Their combined collections include more than 3.4 million volumes and 54,000 print and electronic journal subscriptions.
