| Dr. Barry was born in Chapel Hill, NC in 1965. He attended college at Indiana University, where he graduated with a major in Psychology and a minor in Family Studies. He received his Ph.D. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1992. He is a staff psychologist at Dorothea Dix Hospital, and has been in private practice since 1994. His specialty areas of practice are marital and couple therapy, and short term treatment of anxiety and depression. He is a certified instructor in the PAIRS program, a course for couples and individuals to enhance relationship skills. |
