The Raleigh School of Nurse Anesthesia (RSNA) is a unique partnership among Eastern North Carolina Hospital Facilities, anesthesiology practices and the University of North Carolina Greensboro (UNCG). Founded in 1990, the school offers opportunities for graduate study in nurse anesthesia leading to a Masters Degree. The program's founding mission arose in response to the growing need for Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) with particular recognition for the needs in eastern North Carolina.
