The Raleigh Ringers, Inc., is a community handbell choir consisting of auditioned musicians under the direction of David M. Harris. Fred Gramann (Paris, France) serves as honorary associate director, Dr. William A. Payn serves as our Artistic Consultant, and Kryn Krautheim is the group's Assistant Director. The group performs on a seven and one-half octave set of Malmark handbells, five octaves of Whitechapel handbells, four octaves of Whitechapel Cup Bells, three octaves of Petit and Fritsen handbells, two octaves of Silver Melody Bells, and six octaves of Malmark choirchimes. Space for weekly rehearsals and equipment storage is graciously provided by the Springmoor Life Care Retirement Community of Raleigh.
