Triangle Rent A Car rented its first car in February 1979, from our first office in an old gas station on Western Boulevard in Raleigh, North Carolina. Founder and owner, Frank Colonna, had a fleet of seven cars and two employees. Today's Triangle Rent A Car has 28 branch offices throughout the Carolinas and Virginia, a fleet of over 4,000 cars, trucks and vans, over 400 employees and has rented to millions of satisfied customers, both corporate and leisure, alike.
