Wake Research Associates is an independent multi-center clinical research site designed to work closely with and to meet the needs of the pharmaceutical industry and clinical research organizations. WRA was founded by, and continues to be affiliated with, a large private group practice of internal medicine and subspecialties. This group practice currently has a patient population of approximately 80,000 and is associated with Key Physicians, a primary care physicians network (IPA). WRA is also affiliated with 127 subspecialty physicians in the Raleigh area.
